The Miami Springs/Virginia Gardens Optimist Club is available for rent to hold all your events; birthday parties, kid parties, adult parties, meetings, award ceremonies/dinner andaffordable. Rental includes use of our tables, and remodeled kitchen.
The price for renting the Optimist Club is $400 plus a $100 refundable cleaning / key deposit. Payment and deposit will be collected in full the week of the rental. This price is for the day and we do allow for set up the prior evening if availability allows. We don't really have a time you need to end your event by as long as the party remains inside the hall and no noise complaints are made by neighbors. We do allow alcohol as long as it’s for adults only and remains inside the hall, we do not permit alcohol consumption in the parking lot or surrounding areas. The hall must be returned in the same condition as received before cleaning / key deposit is returned and this is to be done by noon of the following day of rental unless prior arrangements have been made, i.e. rental company can not pick up until Monday, in these cases exemptions are made if advance notice is given.
The hall holds 192 people per fire code and does include independent men's and ladies' restrooms, 5 (Qty) - 8 foot (length) rectangular tables, a stage, use of the kitchen (stove, oven, and refrigerator) as well as access to our ice machine. Unfortunately we currently don't have chair or linens included with rental at this time. We do have a company that we recommend for chair and linen rentals if interested.
